Now officially part of the 'media'

Hey everyone, big news today. My application for 2012 Sporting KC press credentials was accepted!

What does this mean exactly? I can now attend practices and post-match press conferences, spend time in the press boxes at LIVESTRONG Sporting Park, as well as interview players! It's definitely an extremely exciting opportunity. I'm really fortunate to be involved in Sporting KC - such a great organization. I'm fairly sure that this is one of the only professional sports teams in the world to give a 15-year-old press credentials. I won't disappoint.

Specifically, this will enable me do things that I've been really wanting to do for a while now. One thing I've always been interested in doing is filming and producing videos of Sporting KC (including video interviews), which is now possible. Additionally, instead of always recording podcasts over the phone (via BlogTalkRadio) with Alex, we can now occasionally record podcasts in person - a much better way of having a podcast!
